Biting Remark Playtest, Creature — elemental, designed by Josh Thomas first released in Nov, 2019 in the set Mystery Booster Playtest Cards 2019 and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
This card, Biting Remark Playtest, would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on scrying to manipulate draws and gain card advantage. Its ability to be cast for free if seen while scrying adds flexibility and value to the deck. However, in a competitive setting, there may be better options available depending on the specific strategy of the deck, such as cards with more impactful abilities or lower casting costs. Overall, Biting Remark Playtest could see play in certain niche decks that heavily rely on scrying mechanics.

If you cast a spell with scrycast, you don’t look at any additional cards in your library. If you were instructed to scry 1, you won’t do anything else to finish scrying, although you’re still scrying while you cast the spell.
