A deck focused on controlling the board and disrupting your opponent's creatures would benefit from including Blitz Leech. Its ability to remove counters and weaken a target creature upon entering the battlefield can swing the tempo of the game in your favor. While there may be more versatile or powerful options available, such as cards that offer more permanent removal or additional benefits, Blitz Leech could still find a place in certain sideboard strategies against decks reliant on +1/+1 counters or specific creatures. Its Flash ability also adds an element of surprise and flexibility to your plays, making it a situational but potentially impactful inclusion in the right deck.

Blitz Leech’s ability removes all counters from the target creature before state-based actions are checked to see if that creature should die. For example, a 2/2 creature with a flying counter on it will lose that counter while it’s a 0/0 creature before it dies.
