Bomber Corps zou een solide aanvulling zijn op een agressief rood kaartspel dat erop gericht is regelmatig aan te vallen om de bataljonsvaardigheid te activeren en extra schade aan elk doelwit toe te brengen. Er zijn echter efficiëntere kaarten zoals Goblin Guide of Monastery Swiftspear die betere statistieken of extra voordelen bieden voor vergelijkbare kosten, waardoor het minder waarschijnlijk is dat Bomber Corps wordt gespeeld in competitieve Magic: the Gathering-decks.
