About Call from the Grave

Call from the Grave, Sorcery, designed by Quinton Hoover first released in Apr, 1997 in the set Double Masters Tokens and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.

A deck that focuses on graveyard recursion and has ways to gain life would benefit from using Call from the Grave in Magic: the Gathering. While this card can provide value by bringing back a creature from any graveyard, the drawback of taking damage equal to the creature's casting cost can be significant. There are better options like Reanimate or Animate Dead that offer similar effects without the downside of dealing damage to yourself, making them more efficient choices for decks looking to reanimate creatures.
