About Carry Away

Carry Away, Enchantment — aura, designed by Jim Nelson first released in Feb, 2004 in the set Darksteel. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.17.

This card, Carry Away, would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on stealing or controlling your opponent's equipment, disrupting their strategy while gaining an advantage for yourself. While Carry Away is a useful card for this purpose, there are potentially better options such as Control Magic or Confiscate, which allow you to take control of any permanent, not just equipment. However, Carry Away could still see play in decks specifically designed to interact with equipment-heavy strategies or in decks looking for a budget-friendly alternative to more expensive options.

Normally, gaining control of an Equipment doesn’t change what it’s attached to. However, Carry Away has a triggered ability that unattaches the Equipment from whatever it’s attached to. The Equipment’s new controller can activate its equip ability to move it onto a creature they control.
