About Hemelse Kirin

Hemelse Kirin, Legendarisch wezen – kirin-geest, designed by Adam Rex first released in Jun, 2005 in the set Saviors of Kamigawa and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.43.

Een kaartspel gericht op Spirits of Arcane spells zou baat hebben bij het opnemen van Celestial Kirin, omdat het vermogen om alle permanents met dezelfde manawaarde als de spreuk te vernietigen een krachtige tactiek voor het wissen van het bord kan zijn. De hoge manakosten van 2WW kunnen de speelbaarheid in snellere formaten echter beperken. Andere kaarten zoals Supreme Verdict of Wrath of God bieden vergelijkbare board wipe-effecten tegen lagere kosten, waardoor ze potentieel betere opties zijn, afhankelijk van de strategie en de manacurve van het deck. Uiteindelijk kon Celestial Kirin spelen in specifieke decks met een Spirit- of Arcane-thema, op zoek naar een unieke en potentieel verwoestende bordcontrole-optie.

If the Spirit or Arcane spell has in the mana cost, then you use the value of on the stack. For example, Shining Shoal costs . If you choose X = 2, then Shining Shoal’s converted mana cost is 4. Shining Shoal also has an ability that says “You may exile a white card with converted mana cost X from your hand rather than pay Shining Shoal’s mana cost”; if you choose to pay the alternative cost and exile a card with converted mana cost 2, then X is 2 while Shining Shoal is on the stack and its converted mana cost is 4.
