About Cover of Winter

Cover of Winter, Snow enchantment, designed by Wayne Reynolds first released in Jul, 2006 in the set Coldsnap. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.32.

This card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on stalling the game and controlling the board, particularly in a white-based control or prison deck. However, there are better options available such as Moat or Ghostly Prison which provide more consistent and powerful effects for a similar mana cost. Cover of Winter may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering formats due to its reliance on snow mana and the potential for being removed easily, but could be fun to experiment with in casual or themed decks.
