About Dark Dabbling
Dark Dabbling, Instant, designed by Bastien L. Deharme first released in Jul, 2015 in the set Magic Origins and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.31.
This card, Dark Dabbling, would be beneficial in a black-based control or midrange deck that focuses on protecting key creatures and generating card advantage. While it provides a decent effect with the potential for spell mastery bonus, there are stronger options available such as Hero's Downfall for creature removal or Golgari Charm for more versatile protection. Dark Dabbling could see play in specific metas where regeneration and card draw are crucial, but overall it may not be a top choice in competitive decks.
Rules
07/12/18
Dark Dabbling’s spell mastery ability is a normal spell effect, not a replacement effect. This means that if you replace drawing a card for Dark Dabbling’s effect with dredging a card from your graveyard, the cards put into your graveyard this way may enable the additional regeneration.
07/12/18
If the target creature is an illegal target by the time Dark Dabbling tries to resolve, the ability doesn’t resolve. You don’t draw a card and no creatures are regenerated.
22/06/15
You draw a card as Dark Dabbling resolves, not as the creature actually regenerates.
