Deception, Sorcery, designed by Wang Feng first released in May, 1999 in the set Portal Three Kingdoms. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 1.27.
Deception can be a powerful addition to a control or discard-focused deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a targeted discard effect at a relatively low cost. However, there are more versatile and impactful cards like Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek that offer more value by providing additional information or hitting any card type. While Deception may have its niche uses, it may not be the optimal choice in most competitive decks.
