Despondency

Over Despondency

Despondency, Enchantment — aura, ontworpen door D. Alexander Gregory voor het eerst uitgebracht in oktober 1998 in de set Urza's Saga and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0,31.

Despondency could be beneficial in a control or tempo deck that aims to weaken opposing creatures and disrupt their strategy. While it offers some utility with its return-to-hand ability, there are potentially better options like Dead Weight which provides a similar effect at a lower cost without the drawback of returning to hand, making it a more efficient choice for deck construction. Despondency could see play in specific situations where the return-to-hand effect is advantageous, but overall, there are stronger alternatives available.
