Over Direct Current
Direct Current, Sorcery, ontworpen door Dan Murayama Scott voor het eerst uitgebracht in oktober 2018 in de set Guilds of Ravnica and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0,06.
Direct Current can be a valuable addition to a red aggressive deck looking to maintain pressure on the opponent by dealing direct damage while also providing card advantage through its jump-start ability. However, in a competitive setting, cards like Lightning Bolt or Skewer the Critics may offer more efficient or versatile options for direct damage, potentially making them better choices depending on the specific strategy and metagame. Overall, Direct Current could see play in certain budget or casual decks, but may not be a top choice for more competitive or optimized red decks.
Regels
05/10/2018
A spell cast using jump-start will always be exiled afterward, whether it resolves, it's countered, or it leaves the stack in some other way.
05/10/2018
If a card with jump-start is put into your graveyard during your turn, you'll be able to cast it right away if it's legal to do so, before an opponent can take any actions.
05/10/2018
If an effect allows you to pay an alternative cost rather than a spell’s mana cost, you may pay that alternative cost when you jump-start a spell. You’ll still discard a card as an additional cost to cast it.
05/10/2018
You must still follow any timing restrictions and permissions when casting a spell with jump-start, including those based on the card's type. For instance, you can cast a sorcery using jump-start only when you could normally cast a sorcery.
