Uiteenlopende transformaties kunnen nuttig zijn in een EDH/Commander-deck voor meerdere spelers, gericht op het beheersen van het bord en het genereren van kaartvoordeel. Het werkt goed in een strategie die erop gericht is tegenstanders te ontwrichten door bedreigingen te verwijderen en mogelijk waarde te bieden door het vervangen van wezens. Het is echter misschien niet zo krachtig in een zeer competitieve omgeving waar efficiëntie en consistentie van cruciaal belang zijn, omdat er meer kosteneffectieve verwijderingsopties beschikbaar zijn, zoals Cyclonic Rift of Toxic Deluge, die een grotere impact op het spel kunnen hebben.

Any abilities that trigger during the resolution of Divergent Transformations will wait to be put onto the stack until Divergent Transformations finishes resolving. An ability that triggers on the first creature entering the battlefield may target the second creature and vice versa.

You can’t cast Divergent Transformations without two target creatures. If a targeted creature becomes an illegal target for Divergent Transformations after it’s been cast, its controller won’t exile or replace that creature, but the other creature is still affected.
