About Djinn of Wishes

Djinn of Wishes, Creature — djinn, designed by Kev Walker first released in Jul, 2009 in the set Magic 2010 and was printed exactly in 7 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.04.

This Djinn of Wishes card would be a great fit for a control or midrange deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides card advantage and the potential to play spells for free. While it can be a powerful card in the right deck, there are other cards like Jace, the Mind Sculptor or Teferi, Time Raveler that offer more versatile and consistent effects, making Djinn of Wishes less commonly seen in competitive play but still a fun and potentially impactful addition to more casual or themed decks.

If you cast a spell “without paying its mana cost,” you can’t choose to cast it for any alternative costs. You can, however, pay additional costs, such as kicker costs. If the card has any mandatory additional costs, such as that of Tormenting Voice, those must be paid to cast the card.

If you wish to play the exiled card, you must play it while the last ability of Djinn of Wishes is resolving. You can’t play it later in the turn. A spell cast this way may be cast at a time you normally wouldn’t be able to cast a spell of that type, but other restrictions (such as “Cast this spell only during combat”) are enforced.
