Verstrikker, Betovering – aura, designed by D. Alexander Gregory first released in juni 2000 in the set Prophecy. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 8,12.

Entangler zou vooral nuttig zijn in een defensief of op controle gericht kaartspel, vooral als het de sterke punten van wit gebruikt op het gebied van wezenscontrole en aanwezigheid op het bord, zoals een token- of go-wide-strategie waarbij je het je kunt veroorloven een wezen te hebben dat zich toelegt op blokkeren. Hoewel het effectief kan zijn, zijn er aantoonbaar betere opties zoals Ghostly Prison of Propaganda, die aanvallen kunnen afschrikken zonder een wezen te hoeven betoveren en een breder defensief vermogen te bieden. Over het geheel genomen ziet Entangler spel in nichescenario's, maar het is misschien niet de meest competitieve keuze vergeleken met deze alternatieven.
