Over Faceless Devourer
Faceless Devourer, Creature — nightmare horror, ontworpen door Chippy voor het eerst uitgebracht in oktober 2006 in de set Time Spiral and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0,31.
A deck focused on disruption and control, particularly in a format where creatures with shadow are prevalent, would benefit from including Faceless Devourer. While it offers a unique ability to temporarily remove a shadow creature from the battlefield, other cards like Nekrataal or Shriekmaw provide similar effects with additional benefits, making them potentially better choices depending on the deck's strategy. Faceless Devourer could see play in specific metagames where its abilities are particularly effective, but its overall utility may be limited compared to other options.
Regels
19/03/2021
Auras attached to the exiled creature will be put into their owners' graveyards. Equipment attached to the exiled creature will become unattached and remain on the battlefield. Any counters on the exiled creature will cease to exist. Once the exiled creature returns, it's considered a new object with no relation to the object that it was.
19/03/2021
If a token is exiled this way, it will cease to exist and won’t return to the battlefield.
19/03/2021
If an attacking creature has multiple evasion abilities, such as shadow and flying, a creature can block it only if that creature satisfies all of the appropriate evasion abilities.
19/03/2021
If Faceless Devourer leaves the battlefield before its first triggered ability has resolved, its last ability triggers. This ability does nothing when it resolves. Then its first ability resolves and exiles the target creature indefinitely.
19/03/2021
Multiple instances of shadow on the same creature are redundant.
19/03/2021
Once a creature has been blocked, that creature remains blocked and will deal and be dealt combat damage even if it gains or loses shadow or if the blocking creature gains or loses shadow.
19/03/2021
Three Faceless Devourers entering the battlefield at separate times with no other creatures with shadow on the battlefield will result in an infinite loop. The game ends in a draw unless a player somehow interrupts the loop.
