A deck that focuses on controlling the board and disrupting your opponent's strategy would benefit from using Famine, as it can help clear the battlefield of creatures while also dealing damage to players. However, there are more efficient options available, such as Damnation or Toxic Deluge, which offer better value for their mana cost and can have a greater impact on the game. While Famine can still be a decent inclusion in certain scenarios, it may not see as much play compared to these more powerful alternatives.
