Over Fasting
Fasting, Enchantment, ontworpen door Douglas Shuler voor het eerst uitgebracht in augustus 1994 in de set The Dark. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0,89.
This card could be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on stalling the game and gaining incremental life advantage, potentially in a white-based control strategy. However, there are better options available like \[\[Rest for the Weary\]\] which provides immediate life gain without the risk of self-destruction, making it a more reliable choice. Overall, Fasting may not see much play due to its slow and conditional nature compared to other more efficient options.

When you resolve the beginning-of-upkeep triggered ability, you first put a hunger counter on Fasting, then you check how many hunger counters it has. If there are five or more, Fasting is destroyed.
