Over Fiery Gambit
Fiery Gambit, Sorcery, ontworpen door Scott M. Fischer voor het eerst uitgebracht in oktober 2003 in de set Mirrodin and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 3,13.
A deck that focuses on high-risk, high-reward strategies and has ways to manipulate coin flips, such as cards that allow you to reroll or choose the outcome of a flip, would benefit from including Fiery Gambit. However, due to its unpredictable nature, there are more consistent cards like Lightning Bolt or Chain Lightning that offer guaranteed damage without the need to rely on luck, making them better options for competitive play unless the deck is specifically built around coin flip mechanics for fun or casual play.
Regels
01/12/2004
After each flip, you choose whether to continue flipping.
01/12/2004
If you win three flips, Fiery Gambit deals 3 damage to the target creature and 6 damage to each opponent, and you draw nine cards and untap all lands you control.
01/12/2004
You can flip any number of coins (you can even flip more than three), but Fiery Gambit has no effect if you lose any of the flips. You can’t continue flipping if you lose a flip.
01/12/2004
You must choose a target creature when you cast Fiery Gambit. If that target isn’t legal on resolution, Fiery Gambit has no effect and you don’t even flip a coin.
