De Flaccify-kaart zou een op controle gericht blauw kaartspel in Magic: the Gathering ten goede komen, omdat het een kosteneffectieve manier biedt om spreuken tegen te gaan, wat cruciaal is voor het verstoren van de strategie van de tegenstander. Er zijn echter betere counterspell-kaarten beschikbaar, zoals Mana Leak en Force of Will, die meer veelzijdigheid en kracht bieden. Flaccify zou het spel kunnen zien in een budgetdeck of als extra verstoring van de spreuk, maar het is misschien niet de beste optie voor competitieve decks van het hoogste niveau.
