Gossamer-kettingen, Betovering, designed by Steve Luke first released in Feb, 1997 in the set Visions. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.29.
Een deck dat zich richt op het beschermen van belangrijke wezens of het voorkomen van gevechtsschade zou baat hebben bij het gebruik van Gossamer Chains, vooral in een op wit gebaseerd controle- of tempodeck. Hoewel Gossamer Chains een handige mogelijkheid biedt om gevechtsschade door niet-geblokkeerde wezens te voorkomen, is het misschien niet zo efficiënt als andere opties zoals Brave the Elements of Gods Willing, die vergelijkbare bescherming bieden met onmiddellijke snelheid en zich op elk wezen kunnen richten. Gossamer Chains zou kunnen worden gespeeld in specifieke metagames of als een budgetoptie, maar er zijn over het algemeen betere kaarten beschikbaar voor dit effect in Magic: the Gathering.
