About Grijphaak

Grijphaak, Artefact - apparatuur, designed by Philip Straub first released in May, 2020 in the set Zendikar and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.87.

De Grappling Hook-kaart zou ten goede komen aan een kaartspel dat zich richt op agressieve strategieën, vooral in een kaartspel met veel wezens dat snel schade wil aanrichten. Hoewel het vermogen tot dubbele aanval krachtig kan zijn, is de beperking op het dwingen van een wezen om te blokkeren niet altijd voordelig. Andere kaarten zoals Sword of Fire and Ice of Sword of Feast and Famine bieden mogelijk veelzijdigere en impactvollere vaardigheden voor vergelijkbare kosten, waardoor ze mogelijk betere opties zijn, afhankelijk van de strategie van het kaartspel. Grappling Hook zou spel kunnen zien in bepaalde nichedecks die effectief gebruik kunnen maken van zijn vaardigheden.

If you choose to have the targeted creature block the creature that was equipped with Grappling Hook, but it isn’t able to do so as blockers are declared (for example, because the attacking creature has flying and the targeted creature doesn’t), the requirement to block does nothing. The targeted creature is free to block whichever creature its controller chooses, or block no creatures at all.

If you control the triggered ability, you decide whether to have the targeted creature block the attacking creature at the time the ability resolves, not at the time blockers are declared.
