While it can be effective, there are arguably better options like Torment of Hailfire or Pernicious Deed, which can provide more versatile board control or direct damage, respectively. Ultimately, whether Haunting Wind should see play depends on the metagame; if artifacts are a significant threat, it could be a valuable addition, but in a more diverse environment, it may not be as impactful.
