Hecatombe, Betovering, designed by NéNé Thomas first released in Jun, 1995 in the set Ice Age and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.42.
Een kaartspel dat zich richt op het opofferen van wezens voor waarde, zoals een kaartspel met zwarte offers of aristocraten, zou baat hebben bij het gebruik van Hecatomb. Er zijn echter betere opties beschikbaar in Magic: the Gathering die voor efficiëntere en krachtigere effecten zorgen, zoals kaarten als Grave Pact of Dictate of Erebos. Hecatomb kan een leuke en smaakvolle kaart zijn om in een casual kaartspel op te nemen, maar wordt niet als competitief beschouwd en het is onwaarschijnlijk dat deze in meer competitieve formaten zal worden gespeeld.
