About Horta
Horta, Schepsel – elementair, designed by Arthur Haas first released in Aug, 2026 in the set Star Trek.
Horta zou vooral profiteren van een op rood gebaseerd Limited of casual Commander-deck dat een high-end vertrappingsdreiging wil, maar ook waarde hecht aan mana-consistentie, aangezien je met basislandcycling het vroegtijdig kunt weggooien om het benodigde basisland te vinden; een Elemental-tribal deck zou het ook kunnen overwegen, hoewel de prijs van zes mana het een zwakke tribale uitbetaling maakt, tenzij zijn kracht en taaiheid uitzonderlijk hoog zijn of als het extra vaardigheden heeft. Bij competitief geconstrueerd spel zou het spel over het algemeen niet moeten worden gebaseerd op de verstrekte tekst: een wezen dat alleen vertrappen heeft en geen vermogen heeft om het slagveld te betreden, haast, bescherming of kaartvoordeel, zal waarschijnlijk zes mana niet rechtvaardigen. Betere opties zijn onder meer 'Glorybringer' voor een goedkopere agressieve rode dreiging met vliegen, haast en verwijdering, 'Goldspan Dragon' voor helling en ontwijkende druk, of 'Etali, Primal Conqueror
