A deck centered around a Wolf or Werewolf tribal theme would benefit from including Howlpack Wolf, as it synergizes well with other creatures of the same type, enabling it to block effectively. However, there are better options for this role, such as Mayor of Avabruck, which not only boosts other Wolf and Werewolf creatures but also provides a consistent source of additional creatures. While Howlpack Wolf can be a decent inclusion in a tribal deck, there are stronger options available that may be more impactful overall.
