Leg bloot, Direct, designed by Chippy first released in Apr, 2010 in the set Rise of the Eldrazi. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.30.
Een controledeck dat zich richt op het verstoren van het spelplan van de tegenstander en het verkrijgen van informatie over zijn hand zou baat hebben bij het gebruik van Lay Bare. Hoewel Lay Bare een solide kaart is voor zijn prijs, zijn er aantoonbaar betere opties zoals Counterspell of Mana Leak die directere en veelzijdigere spell counter-mogelijkheden bieden. Lay Bare zou echter nog steeds spel kunnen zien in specifieke metagames waarbij handverstoring cruciaal is, maar het is misschien geen hoofdbestanddeel in de meeste competitieve decks.
