Over Mana Vortex
Mana Vortex, Enchantment, ontworpen door Douglas Shuler voor het eerst uitgebracht in augustus 1994 in de set The Dark and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 18,89.
This card, Mana Vortex, would be beneficial in a control deck that aims to disrupt the opponent's mana base and slow down their game plan. However, it comes with a high risk of backfiring if not managed properly. While it can be a powerful tool in the right circumstances, there are more efficient land destruction cards available in Magic: the Gathering, such as Sinkhole or Strip Mine, which may be better options depending on the specific deck strategy and format. Ultimately, whether Mana Vortex sees play would depend on the overall synergy and game plan of the deck it's included in.
Regels
01/10/2009
Mana Vortex’s third ability is a “state trigger.” Once a state trigger triggers, it won’t trigger again as long as the ability is on the stack. If the ability is countered and the trigger condition is still true, it will immediately trigger again.
01/10/2009
When you cast Mana Vortex, its first ability triggers and goes on the stack on top of the Mana Vortex spell. The triggered ability resolves first. When it resolves, you either sacrifice a land or you counter Mana Vortex.
