While Marker Beetles offers a decent utility with its ability to boost a creature's power temporarily and provide card draw upon sacrifice, there are potentially better options available in Magic: the Gathering that offer more impactful effects for a similar cost, such as Eternal Witness for recursion or Elvish Visionary for immediate card draw. However, Marker Beetles could still see play in casual or budget decks looking for a versatile insect creature with additional benefits.
