About Nefarious Lich
Nefarious Lich, Enchantment, designed by Jerry Tiritilli first released in Oct, 2001 in the set Odyssey. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 2.00.
Nefarious Lich could be a strong addition to a control deck that focuses on graveyard recursion and card advantage, as it offers a unique way to protect yourself from damage while potentially drawing more cards. However, its high mana cost and the risk of losing the game if you can't exile cards from your graveyard may make it a risky choice. Other cards like Platinum Angel or Platinum Emperion might offer more reliable protection, but Nefarious Lich could still see play in certain niche strategies that can take advantage of its abilities effectively.
Rules
04/10/04
If you were going to gain life and you also have a replacement that can turn card drawing into life gain on the battlefield, you can gain life by using the Lich to turn the original life gain into card drawing, and then using the other replacement to turn a card draw into life gain. Nefarious Lich will not replace the life gain with a card draw again because it has already acted on this event.
