Een zelfmolen- of kerkhofrecursiestapel zou baat hebben bij het gebruik van Nephalia, omdat het helpt het kerkhof te vullen en een consistente manier biedt om kaarten terug te geven aan je hand. Er zijn echter betere opties beschikbaar, zoals Mulch of Grisly Salvage voor zelfmolen, en Eternal Witness of Rerowth voor recursie op het kerkhof. Nephalia zou kunnen spelen in casual of budgetdecks, maar competitieve decks zouden waarschijnlijk kiezen voor efficiëntere opties.

Nephalia’s first ability doesn’t target any card, and players don’t get priority to cast spells or activate abilities in between putting cards into your graveyard and choosing a card to return.
