Persistent Nightmare, Creature — Nightmare, designed by Sean Sevestre first released in May, 2020 in the set Shadows over Innistrad Promos and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.28.
This card, Persistent Nightmare, would be a great addition to a deck focused on evasive creatures and aggressive strategies, especially in formats where recurring threats are valuable. While it has the drawback of returning to hand after dealing damage, it can be used effectively with bounce effects or ways to replay it quickly. However, there may be better options depending on the specific deck strategy, such as Delver of Secrets in a tempo deck or Gurmag Angler in a graveyard-based strategy. Persistent Nightmare could see play in certain niche decks that can take advantage of its unique abilities and synergies.

A sorcery can’t be put onto the battlefield and a permanent can’t transform into a sorcery. If an effect exiles Persistent Nightmare and then instructs you to return it to the battlefield, it remains face up in exile (unless that effect instructs you to put it onto the battlefield transformed, in which case it returns as Persistent Nightmare). If an effect instructs you to transform Persistent Nightmare, the instruction is ignored.

If you cause a creature to have 0 power or less, use the actual value (which may be negative) to determine whether it can block or be blocked. A creature with skulk and 0 or less power most likely won’t be blocked, but it won’t deal combat damage and won’t trigger any abilities that trigger when combat damage is dealt.
