This card could be beneficial in a red deck that focuses on discarding cards for value and dealing direct damage to the opponent or key creatures. However, there are potentially better cards like Fiery Temper which deals 3 damage for just 1 R when discarded, making it more efficient in most cases. While Pyromancy could be a fun and unpredictable addition to a deck, its randomness may make it less reliable for competitive play compared to other more consistent options.
