Repulsor Bots past het beste in een op blauw gebaseerd midrange- of tempo Commander-deck – vooral artefactgericht (bijv. Breya, Urza) of blink/value-builds – waar het vliegende lichaam van zes mana plus de ETB-stuiter van maximaal twee artefacten en/of wezens tempo kunnen genereren en kunnen worden hergebruikt met flikkereffecten; bij 4UU is het echter relatief duur voor wat het doet, en efficiëntere opties of opties met een hogere impact overtreffen het vaak, zoals **Cyclonic Rift** (veel krachtiger massale bounce), **Hullbreaker Horror** (herhaalbare, game-warping bounce), **Venser, Shaper Savant** (goedkopere en flexibelere interactie), of zelfs **Aether Channeler** voor hulpprogramma's met een lagere curve, waardoor Repulsor Bots meer een solide Limited-kaart of een casual/Commander-synergiestuk in plaats van een competitief hoofdbestanddeel, en het is onwaarschijnlijk dat er serieus spel zal plaatsvinden, tenzij het kaartspel specifiek profiteert van artefactsynergieën of herhaa
