About Run Behind

**Run Behind** is een tempo-georiënteerde blauwe kaart die het beste past in een tempo- of controledeck dat gevechten wil verstoren met behoud van mana-efficiëntie, vooral in formaten waarin aanvallende wezens centraal staan in de metagame. De kostenreductie tegen aanvallende wezens maakt het het sterkst in reactieve decks in draw-go-stijl die mana kunnen tegenhouden en agressie kunnen bestraffen, en functioneren als een pseudo-verwijderingsspreuk die zowel de aanwezigheid van het bord als de draw-steps ontzegt als deze bovenop wordt geplaatst. Het concurreert echter met aanzienlijk sterkere en flexibelere opties zoals **Into the Roil**, **Fading Hope**, **Brazen Borrower**, **Resculpt**, of vooral **Aetherize** in anti-aggro-shells; zelfs **Memory Lapse**-achtige effecten of harde verwijdering zoals **Ravenform** bieden vaak een beter tempo of permanente antwoorden.
