About Scattering Stroke
Scattering Stroke, Instant, designed by Franz Vohwinkel first released in Oct, 2007 in the set Lorwyn and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.43.
A control deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's game plan and generating additional mana would benefit from using Scattering Stroke in Magic: the Gathering. While it offers the potential for ramping by winning the clash, there are more efficient counterspells available such as Cryptic Command or Mana Drain that provide additional utility or mana advantage without the randomness of a clash mechanic. Scattering Stroke could see play in casual or themed decks for a fun twist, but in competitive settings, other counterspells may be more reliable choices.
Rules
