Slitherhead zou nuttig zijn in een kaartspel met Golgari-thema dat zich richt op kerkhofinteracties en +1/+1 counters, omdat het gemakkelijk kan worden herhaald vanaf het kerkhof om andere wezens een boost te geven. Er zijn echter potentieel betere opties zoals Lotleth Troll of Varolz, de Scar-Striped, die meer veelzijdigheid en impact bieden. Slitherhead zou spelen in een budget- of casual deck kunnen zien, maar is misschien niet de beste keuze voor competitief spel vanwege de beperkte impact in vergelijking met andere beschikbare opties.

Exiling the creature card with scavenge is part of the cost of activating the scavenge ability. Once the ability is activated and the cost is paid, it’s too late to stop the ability from being activated by trying to remove the creature card from the graveyard.
