Spectraal schild, Betovering – aura, designed by Margaret Organ-Kean first released in Jun, 1995 in the set Ice Age and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.30.
Een controledeck dat zich richt op het beschermen van belangrijke wezens zou baat hebben bij het gebruik van Spectral Shield, omdat het zowel een defensieve boost biedt met de +0/+2 buff als bescherming tegen gerichte spreuken. Hoewel het in bepaalde situaties effectief kan zijn, zijn er over het algemeen betere opties beschikbaar, zoals kaarten die meer veelzijdige bescherming bieden, zoals Lightning Greaves of Swiftfoot Boots. Spectral Shield zou kunnen worden gespeeld in budgetdecks of als een situationele sideboard-kaart.
