Een kaartspel dat zich richt op het beheersen van de spreuken en het tempo van de tegenstander zou baat hebben bij het opnemen van Stratus Dancer, omdat het hun instant- of tovenarij-spreuken kan verstoren wanneer het met de afbeelding naar boven wordt gedraaid. In een competitieve omgeving zijn er echter betere opties, zoals Spellstutter Sprite of Vendilion Clique, die veelzijdigere en impactvollere vaardigheden bieden.
