Taiga is een waardevolle kaart in decks die gebruik maken van rode en groene mana, vooral in agressieve of middellange strategieën zoals Gruul (rood-groen) decks, die zich vaak richten op synergie tussen wezens en het aangaan van krachtige bedreigingen.
