A deck focused on energy generation and +1/+1 counters, such as a Simic or Temur energy deck in Magic: The Gathering, would benefit from including Thriving Turtle. While it provides a steady source of energy and can grow in power with its attack ability, there are stronger options like Longtusk Cub or Bristling Hydra that offer more immediate impact and scalability, making Thriving Turtle less likely to see play in competitive decks.
