Over Urza's Command
Urza's Command, Instant, ontworpen door Dominik Mayer voor het eerst uitgebracht in oktober 2022 in de set The Brothers' War and was printed exactly in 5 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0,44.
Urza's Command would be beneficial in an artifact-based control deck that aims to control the board with creature debuffs, generate mana with Powerstone tokens, create a powerful Construct token, and maintain card advantage with scrying and drawing. While it offers versatility, there may be better options like Cryptic Command for more flexibility or Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge for stronger artifact synergy. However, depending on the deck's strategy and synergy with artifacts, Urza's Command could still see play as a versatile and impactful card.
Regels
14/10/2022
Although all the cards in The Brothers' War that create Powerstone tokens create a tapped Powerstone token, entering the battlefield tapped isn't part of the token's definition. Notably, if you create a token that is a copy of a Powerstone token, the token copy won't enter the battlefield tapped.
14/10/2022
Powerstone tokens are a kind of predefined token. Each one has the artifact subtype "Powerstone" and the ability "{T}: Add {C}. This mana can't be spent to cast a nonartifact spell."
14/10/2022
The ability of that Construct token does count the Construct itself, so it'll be at least 1/1.
14/10/2022
You can use the {C} added by a Powerstone token on anything that isn't a nonartifact spell. This includes paying costs to activate abilities of both artifact and nonartifact permanents, paying ward costs, and so on.
