This card, Venom, would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on controlling the board by eliminating key threats during combat. However, there are potentially better options such as cards like Darksteel Mutation or Song of the Dryads which provide more versatile and permanent removal effects. If this Aura is moved onto a creature after blockers are declared, creatures blocking the newly-enchanted creature are not affected. This is because the ability triggers at the time blocking occurs.
