About Vex

Vex, Direct, designed by Brian Snõddy first released in mei 2020 in the set Darksteel. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0,30.

Vex is vooral nuttig in controlespellen die tot doel hebben de strategieën van de tegenstander te verstoren en tegelijkertijd het kaartvoordeel te behouden. Door de controller van de spreuk een kaart te laten trekken, kan deze de nadelen van het tegengaan van een spreuk verzachten, waardoor het een strategische keuze wordt in blauwzware kaartspellen die zich richten op het trekken van kaarten en het beheer van hulpbronnen. Er zijn echter aantoonbaar betere opties beschikbaar, zoals Counterspell, dat eenvoudigweg een spreuk tegenwerkt zonder de tegenstander enig kaartvoordeel te geven, of Mana Drain, dat niet alleen een spreuk tegengaat, maar je ook mana geeft die gelijk is aan de kosten ervan in je volgende hoofdfase. . Hoewel Vex situationeel nuttig kan zijn, wordt het misschien niet op grote schaal toegepast in vergelijking met deze efficiëntere alternatieven.
