A deck that focuses on land manipulation or control, such as a black-green land destruction or swamp synergy deck, would benefit from including Wild Ox in its strategy. However, there are likely better options available in terms of power and synergy for most competitive decks, such as creatures with more impactful abilities or stronger stats for their mana cost.
