Over Wingshield Agent
Wingshield Agent, Creature — human soldier, ontworpen door Aaron J. Riley voor het eerst uitgebracht in april 2022 in de set Streets of New Capenna. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0,01.
A deck focused on aggressive blue strategies, such as tempo or flying tribal, would benefit from including Wingshield Agent due to its ability to grant flying to another creature when attacking. While Wingshield Agent is a solid card for its mana cost and can provide evasion for other creatures, there may be better options depending on the specific deck archetype, such as favorable comparisons to cards like Sephara, Sky's Blade or Empyrean Eagle in flying tribal decks. Ultimately, Wingshield Agent could see play in certain decks looking to enhance their offensive capabilities with flying creatures.
Regels
29/04/2022
“Shield” is not an ability that creatures have and shield counters are not keyword counters. If a creature with a shield counter loses its abilities, the shield counter will still protect it as normal.
29/04/2022
A creature with a shield counter on it may still be destroyed by state-based actions if it has damage marked on it equal to its toughness or has been dealt unpreventable damage by a source with deathtouch.
29/04/2022
If a permanent that would be dealt damage has more than one shield counter on it, that damage is prevented and only one shield counter is removed.
29/04/2022
If a permanent with a shield counter is dealt unpreventable damage, that damage will be dealt and a shield counter will still be removed.
29/04/2022
Removing a shield counter in this way isn't the same as regenerating a creature.
29/04/2022
Shield counters don't prevent players from sacrificing creatures.
