Winterse explosie, Tovenarij, designed by Kaja Foglio first released in Jun, 1994 in the set Legends and was printed exactly in 8 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.30.
Een kaartspel dat zich richt op het beheersen van het bord en het verstoren van de strategieën van de tegenstander zou baat hebben bij het opnemen van Winter Blast. Het kan effectief meerdere wezens neerhalen, inclusief degenen die kunnen vliegen, en schade aan hen toebrengen. Er kunnen echter betere alternatieven zijn in de vorm van veelzijdigere verwijderingsspreuken zoals Lightning Bolt of Pyroclasm, die zich op een breder scala aan bedreigingen kunnen richten. Winter Blast zou nog steeds kunnen spelen in specifieke metagames of nichestrategieën waarbij de specifieke effecten bijzonder waardevol zijn.
