Witchstalker

Over Witchstalker

Witchstalker, Creature — wolf, ontworpen door Christopher Moeller voor het eerst uitgebracht in juli 2013 in de set Magic 2014 and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0,70.

A deck focused on aggressive green creatures or a deck that aims to counter blue and black spells would benefit from including Witchstalker. While Witchstalker's Hexproof ability can protect it from targeted removal, its ability to grow in power when opponents cast blue or black spells during your turn can make it a potent threat. However, there may be better options depending on the specific strategy of the deck, such as Thrun, the Last Troll, which offers similar protection with regeneration and can't be countered, making it potentially more resilient in certain matchups. Ultimately, whether Witchstalker sees play will depend on the metagame and the specific needs of the deck it's included in.
