Simic Eldrazi

Simic Eldrazi is a Modern ramp-and-tempo deck that combines green acceleration with blue interaction and powerful colorless Eldrazi threats. Its main plan is to develop mana quickly through Utopia Sprawl, Talisman of Curiosity, Eldrazi Temple, Ugin's Labyrinth, and Sowing Mycospawn, then deploy oversized creatures such as Devourer of Destiny, Drowner of Truth, and Emrakul, the Promised End.

The deck uses Malevolent Rumble, Quantum Riddler, and Icetill Explorer to find threats or key cards while maintaining pressure. Ugin's Binding and Kozilek's Command provide flexible removal and board control, while Consign to Memory helps protect against powerful triggered abilities, expensive spells, and opposing colorless strategies. Vexing Bauble can disrupt free spells, and Dismember gives the deck an efficient answer to large creatures. Nature's Claim handles artifacts and enchantments.

One of the deck's strongest features is its explosive mana development. Eldrazi Temple and Ugin's Labyrinth can allow the deck to cast threats ahead of schedule, while Sowing Mycospawn can disrupt opposing lands and improve future mana. Cavern of Souls makes key Eldrazi difficult to counter, and Emrakul, the Promised End can dominate long games by providing a powerful late-game threat and a devastating control effect.

The deck also has useful utility lands. Ghost Quarter can answer problematic lands, while Bojuka Bog provides graveyard hate. Misty Rainforest, Breeding Pool, and Hedge Maze support the blue-green side of the mana base while still allowing access to colorless spells and abilities.

Its main weakness is that the mana can be demanding. The deck needs enough colored sources for cards such as Utopia Sprawl, Consign to Memory, and Kozilek's Command, while also requiring colorless sources for Ugin's Labyrinth, Eldrazi costs, and other colorless effects. Drawing too many utility lands or high-cost threats can create awkward hands. The deck may also struggle against fast combo decks, aggressive starts that attack its life total before its large creatures arrive, and strategies capable of consistently answering its expensive threats.

Overall, Simic Eldrazi is a proactive Modern deck built around accelerated mana, disruptive colorless creatures, and flexible blue-green interaction. It rewards careful sequencing of lands and ramp spells, and it is especially strong when it can establish an early Eldrazi threat while keeping opposing spells and permanents under control.
