About Stormsplitter
Stormsplitter, Creature — otter wizard, designed by Serena Malyon first released in juli 2024 in the set Bloomburrow and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 16,03.
This card, Stormsplitter, would be a great addition to a red-blue spellslinger deck in Magic: the Gathering. It synergizes well with instant and sorcery spells, allowing for a snowball effect of creating more copies of itself. While it can generate value quickly, its downside is that the tokens are exiled at the end step, limiting its long-term impact. There are potentially better cards for similar strategies, such as Young Pyromancer, which creates elemental tokens with each spell cast, providing more lasting board presence. However, Stormsplitter could still see play in decks looking for explosive and aggressive plays.

In the unusual case where Stormsplitter becomes a copy of something else while its triggered ability is on the stack but before it resolves, the token will enter as a copy of whatever Stormsplitter is copying.

The token doesn’t copy whether Stormsplitter is tapped or untapped, whether it has any counters on it or Auras and Equipment attached to it, or any non-copy effects that have changed its power, toughness, types, color, and so on.
