Um deck focado em controlar criaturas e artefatos de alto valor de mana, como um deck de controle ou baseado em roubo, se beneficiaria ao usar Juxtapose em Magic: the Gathering. Embora Juxtapose possa ser situacional e arriscado devido ao potencial de seu oponente escolher um permanente menos valioso para trocar, existem outras cartas como Suborno ou Controle Mágico que oferecem um controle mais consistente e direto sobre as criaturas do oponente. No final das contas, Juxtapose pode não ser a escolha principal para jogos competitivos, mas poderia ser uma adição divertida e inesperada a um deck casual.

First creatures are exchanged, then artifacts are exchanged. It’s possible that the same artifact creature may be involved in both exchanges.

If one of the players doesn’t control a creature at the time the exchange would be made, that part of the effect does nothing, but the exchange of artifacts will still happen. Similarly, if one of the players doesn’t control an artifact at the time the exchange would be made, that part of the effect does nothing.
